FURTHER CLAMPDOWN ON STATE BENEFITS

The DSS may have changed its name to the Department for Work and Pensions but its focus on reducing benefit costs remains unchanged. The latest proposal to emerge is that the eligibility of claimants for incapacity benefit should be retested at least every three years. More details are due to appear in yet another Welfare Reform Bill
